Sunseeker new Manhattan 52

The new Manhattan 52 will get its UK debut at this year’s Southampton Boat Show.

It is Sunseeker International’s smallest flybridge model, and is designed to maximise entertainment options, light and living space.

Its hull incorporates unparalleled amounts of curved glass to emphasise its sleek lines as well as bringing the outside in.

The 52 will set the design direction for a new wave of Manhattan models that will be introduced over the coming years.

Sunseeker International will unveil its smallest flybridge model, the Manhattan 52, at the 2016 Southampton Boat Show in September.

Sunseeker 155 Yacht Blush

From its facilities in Poole on the south coast of Britain, the second hull of the Sunseeker 155 – the current flagship of the large Sunseeker International fleet – is due to be delivered to its Owner in summer next year. With a completely different interior layout and interior design from the first hull, this yacht, currently under construction, was commissioned in spring last year at the Dubai Boat Show.

“This latest commission just goes to show the level of enquiry from this ever growing international show,” commented Sean Robertson, Sales Director at Sunseeker International, at the time. He emphasised Sunseeker’s success at this major international boat show in impacting the market with the acquisition of the prestigious contract:

“We are absolutely delighted to have sold another 155 Yacht. The 155 Yacht’s intricate design and build process allows for customisation of the highest level and as each yacht is so individual and unique it makes the build ever more exciting. The team back in Poole can’t wait to start work on this and are eager to create something truly bespoke.”

That spring, the Poole facilities also saw the solemn celebration of the launch of the first Sunseeker 155 Yacht, to date the largest yacht built by Sunseeker International.

The impressive event to celebrate the launch and delivery to the vessel’s Owner, Formula 1 tycoon Eddie Jordan, in the company of the Group President at Sunseeker International, Robert Braithwaite, was a fitting event for the scale of the yacht.

After months and months of hard work for the engineers and designers who completed every phase of the project from concept to construction entirely in-house, Robert Braithwaite expressed his own great satisfaction and that of the shipyard’s entire team:

“We were incredibly proud to launch the 155 Yacht here in Poole with Mr Jordan. The 155 Yacht is a truly iconic British yacht. From drawing board through to testing, the yacht was designed and built in Poole, so it really is British through and through and the fact the launch took place in Poole made it all the more special.”
